Landhaus zu Appesbach

The absolute highlight of our trip and was quite the lifesaver after a not so great stay elsewhere the night before. Views were amazing, the atmosphere was perfect and the rooms - while a little dated was incredibly comfortable. The spa area was also great, a little small but gorgeous and well equipped (modern too haha). Service and staff were also top notch and made us feel very much welcomed and at home. Food was also amazing and the best during our entire trip. Do yourself a favour and add on the dinner. If i had any regrets, it was not staying back a little later for lunch🥲 Also, an extra special thank you to the staff who gifted us the amazing boat ride. It really made our stay extra special and we can't wait to come back if we're ever in the area again. The lil touches like chocolates and snacks on arrival was also greatly appreciated.

Wonderful place and hotel. The hotel is located next to the Wolfgang lake which is very beautiful and clear. It is possible to relax on the shore of the lake with a pier to then take a swim in the lake. The attention to details is to be noted and extremely well done, from the local products at the breakfast, to the towels, the bedding, the soaps or how well the garden is maintained. Very appreciated and gives a feeling of calmness and relaxation. The spa is wonderful and the service too. Only great things to say! Perfect hotel

Absolutely magical, unforgettable birthday break booked by my fiancé Sarah. We LOVED this hotel as the highlight of the 3 excellent hotels we visited. The history of the Windsor suite, the comfort and size, the location and views, the rowing boat, the teams at reception and breakfast, we could ask no more. We will 100% come back. Thank you so much for making this the best birthday treat ever.

Gorgeous hotel and exceptional service. If you do not have a car, it can be tricky to get to but once we were there, we loved our experience. We took a ferry to Wolfgang Mkt then walked 10-12 min to the hotel. We received an inclusive minibar and treats in our room upon arrival. The bar by the lake is gorgeous. The restaurant was good and affordable given a luxury hotel. We recommend and would return.

Thank you for all warm-hearted staff, you made my day in the journey! My room is cozy and they even prepared some nice snacks. I love the balcony where I can see the stars at night.

A truly memorable lunch experience at Landhaus zu Appesbach. As seasoned fine dining enthusiasts, we’re rarely surprised — but this place left a lasting impression. From the very start, the setting was idyllic: a terrace overlooking the serene Wolfgangsee, with the lake shimmering under the summer sun. But the view was just the beginning. The cuisine was outstanding — refined, full of flavor, and dotted with unexpected yet perfectly balanced twists. Every course showed thoughtful creativity without losing touch with its Austrian soul. Service was impeccable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Special mention goes to the sommelier, whose expertise elevated the entire experience. His pairing suggestions, storytelling, and presence at the table were truly next-level — a rare combination of deep wine knowledge and effortless charm. The Neumeister Morillon we had during lunch perfectly mirrored the place itself: elegant, distinctive, and rooted in Austrian character. A hidden gem that deserves every bit of recognition. We’ll be back.

We liked the all the property which is nicely situated in the quiet place on the shore of Wolfgangsee. Check-in was fast and we were presented with glass of sparkling wine. Our Junior Suite room had terrace with nice view to the lake. We liked to walk by footpath around the lake to St. Wolfgang town. Breakafast was great. Our stay was worth the money.
