Gasthof zum Alten Jagdschloss

We ordered a salad with grilled meat and a desert - and waited more than 30mins for our food to arrived. The meat was luke warm by then. The Mayerlinger eismarilen knoedel tasted very artificial, not good. The place is overpriced - for the qualityof food and for drinks especially - we paid 4.40e for lemonsoda. A bit ridiculous. We liked the setting under trees. A bike stand would be nice to add to the parking. We locked our bikes to the railing. As respsponseto the owner below -we were not told about the waiting time, two table with people who arrived after us were served before us and there was no getraenke karte / menu on the table so we ordered drinks right away.

Clean comfortable nice dekorated room with balcony. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Good working wifi. Beers wine and food were both very good. The place is lovely. If i am back in Mayerling again i will visit it again.

Stayed one night here, lovely hotel, nice room with a balcony, good food, very good service. Lots of nice decorative touches throughout the hotel. Nice to be in a hotel with character. The owner is such a nice friendly guy. Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely rustic little mansion. Quiet, clean, relaxing and service is great! Recommend to anyone who wants to chill outside the city. Surroundings are lovely hills covered with woods. Ideal for romantic getaways. ❤

The people were cordial and very competent. The room was large and decorated with excellent taste. The local tourist attraction is right next door. Food was also good.

Stopped in for a beer after visiting the chapel at Mayerling next door. Decor is wonderfully traditional: antlers and romantic portraits of the tragic couple Prinz Rudolf and his mistress Mary Vetsera. Nice place to wait for your taxi.

Mayerling is a one-horse town, and this is where the horse sleeps. But he gets well looked after, with clean rooms, friendly staff and good food. It's also right next to the old Schloss, which is really the only reason you would ever come here.

Nice location, clean and quiet room with a balcony, welcoming and friendly hosts, pleasant and at the same time very interesting breakfast area with a tasty and generous breakfast. Alles Tip Top !
